Primulina Avery's Milky Way

Primulina Avery's Milky Way

Re-establishing primulina hybrid of mine after a fatal rot last year during a move to its new home. It is still unable to show its potential this year and I can only wait for another year

Primulina Avery’s Oriental Dragon ( syn. Chirita Avery’s Oriental Dragon )

Primulina Avery’s Oriental Dragon ( syn. Chirita Avery’s Oriental Dragon )

My Primulina hybrid registered last year on 2014

I have used a Primulina fimbrisepala with white leaf markings as pod parent. The clone is now called Primulina Avery's Fimbri A1. The strong white markings were inherited in its offsprings and the leaves of this hybrid is more attractive than those made with the ordinary green leaf clones.

This is the second year bloom of this plant. Owning to the tall and upright characters of the Primulina linearifolia flower stems, this hybrid also inherited these advantages of the pollen parent. I hope to see more flower count when the plant is fully grown next year ~

Primulina Avery's Fimbri Snow - albino form of Primulina fimbrisepala ( syn. Chirita Avery's Fimbri Snow )

Primulina Avery's Fimbri Snow ( syn. Chirita Avery's Fimbri Snow )

This is an albino variety of the Primulina fimbrisepala. I have register this cultivar name at the TGS last year. You will soon see it in their registry

This variety is pure white in color and is more easier to bloom on tall flower stems. A first bloom plant propagated from leaf cutting can bare 3 flower spikes which make it very showy.

I have used it in my Primulina breeding and I hope more eye catching hybrids can be made with the help of this particular clone.

PS. I have got the spelling wrong in the photos. It should be snow instead of snowy ^^
